We are situated on the slopes of Mount Ngongotaha approximately 8 minutes by car (6km) from the city centre on the outskirts of town . Our location affords us the most beautiful views of Rotorua and the surrounding countryside. We are so close to the mountain bush that we hear birdsong and very little else. Our peace and quiet is appreciated by our guests who are glad to be away from the bustle of town and the sulphur smells, yet close enough for easy access to many of the popular attractions and restaurants.
Directions from the North on SH5 – continue on Fairy Springs Rd. At the large traffic light junction (Paradise Valley/Clayton Rd) turn right into Clayton Rd. Approximately 3 kms along Clayton Rd turn right into Mountain Rd.
Directions from the South on SH5 – at the Hemo Rd roundabout turn left heading towards Hamilton. Turn left onto Springfield Rd, continue onto Pukehangi Rd, turn right onto Clayton Rd then left onto Mountain Rd.
Directions from Rotorua airport on SH30 – Continue onto SH30A then SH5 (Fairy Springs Rd). At traffic light junction (Paradise Valley/Clayton Rd) turn left onto Clayton Rd. After approx 3km turn right onto Mountain Rd.
Approx 1 km along Mountain Rd you will see our main sign on your left. Follow the drive to the junction then bear slightly left then right & follow the signs for City Lights.
